Staff & permissions
Business roles include owner, manager, and accountant. Store roles cover managers, cashiers, waiters, kitchen, and bar. Permissions can control payments, discounts, cancellations, refunds, shifts, and report access. Restaurant staff can use personal PINs on configured devices.
Multiple stores
Share business identity, catalog, and users while each store keeps its own staff, devices, stock, pricing context, and application setup. A restaurant can use Serve while a retail store uses POS under the same business structure.
Devices
Serve and POS are Windows desktop applications. Waiter is mobile, Connect opens in the customer’s browser, and KDS serves preparation screens. Devices belong to a store and application. Setup follows install → connect → select store → validate → staff sign-in. A configured device can be recognized on launch. Confirm hardware and operating systems before purchase.
